For the weekly running of the worship practices, we have a Operations Box (nicknamed the “Ops Box”) found in the Worship Ministry Store Room. Worship teams are to note the following:
1. Staff will ensure that the Ops Box will be in the Sanctuary 3 by Saturday afternoon latest for the 8am Team.
2. The 8am Team will observe the following:
Ops Box
The Ops Box will have the following items:
The Microphone Box contains 2x wired microphones and 1x wireless microphone with receiver and AC adapter. Please ensure that the wireless mic has sufficient battery for operation. Approach the Staff for spare batteries (2x AA size).
The Cable Box
The Cable Box contains two DI boxes, a Behringer Ultra DI and an Artec 2 Channel DI. The Artec DI can accommodate two inputs. Approach the Staff if your band requires more DI boxes. There are an assortment of 1/4” cables and XLR cables for instruments and microphones respectively. Please notify the Staff should any of the cables spoil.
Please avoid packing the cables outside of the Cable Box:
We want to prolong the lifespan of our cables as much as possible. Keeping cables outside of the Cable Box leads to cable entanglement, which in turn, causes loops and kinks which shorten the life of the cable.
